RRA Severne Primorske doo Nova Gorica se nahaja na Goriškem v Zahodni Sloveniji. Leta 1999 je agencijo ustanovilo 6 občin, da bi združili vse lokalne, regionalne in nacionalne potenciale ter uresničili razvojne projekte, financirane z nacionalnimi in mednarodnimi sredstvi. Območje 6 občin, ki ga pokrivamo, ima 60.000 prebivalcev. Administrativno središče regije je Nova Gorica z 32.000 prebivalci. POSLANSTVO RRA SEVERNE PRIMORSKE je spodbujanje razvoja na gospodarskem, družbenem, okoljskem in prostorskem področju v Goriški statistični regiji; pripravljati in izvajati regionalni razvojni program in druge skupne razvojne programe; pridobivanje nacionalnih in mednarodnih sredstev financiranja; svetovanje, spodbujanje in podpora lokalnemu podjetništvu. DELOVNA PODROČJA: • Lokalni poslovni center spodbuja razvoj MSP in spodbuja inovativne dejavnosti, vključno z novimi tehnologijami na različnih področjih; • Oddelek za regionalni razvoj in mednarodno sodelovanje, ki skrbi za trajnostni razvoj v Goriški statistični regiji; • Projektna pisarna, ki skrbi za stalno informiranje vseh ciljnih skupin; • Oddelek za razvoj podeželja spodbuja razvoj podeželja, išče partnerstva za izvajanje razvojnih pobud ter skrbi za pripravo in izvajanje lokalnih razvojnih strategij.

Slovak Business Agency (SBA) je najstaršia špecializovaná nezisková organizácia na podporu malých a stredných podnikov na Slovensku. Vznikla v roku 1993 spoločnou iniciatívou EÚ a vlády Slovenskej republiky. Je jedinečnou platformou verejného a súkromného sektora, ktorá už viac ako 25 rokov podporuje rast slovenských MSP. SBA je členom siete EEN a má za sebou dlhoročné pôsobenie v medzinárodných projektoch v témach: podpora start-upov, podpora inovácií a spolupráce, podnikanie žien, klastre, cirkulárna ekonomika a sociálne podnikanie. SBA v súčasnosti realizuje dva kľúčové národné projekty zamerané na podporu MSP, ako aj nepodnikateľov, a to 1) Národné podnikateľské centrum - Bratislavský kraj (pre región hlavného mesta) a 2) Národné podnikateľské centrum v regiónoch (v každom zo 7 samosprávnych krajov mimo Bratislavy). Všetky tieto centrá slúžia ako jednotné kontaktné miesta, poskytujúce komplexnú systematickú podporu a odborné poradenstvo formou skupinových odborných aktivít, ako sú semináre, workshopy, diskusné fóra a pod. ako aj krátkodobú a dlhodobú individuálnu mentorskú podporu pre MSP, ako aj nepodnikateľov, vďaka čomu SBA disponuje množstvom expertov, mentorov, kontaktov a dohôd s rôznymi lokálnymi a medzinárodnými subjektmi, ktoré sa zaoberajú problematikou podpory podnikania. Národné podnikateľské centrum v Bratislave prevádzkuje inkubátor & akcelerátor a tiež creative point.

Comenius University in Bratislava is the oldest and biggest university in Slovakia. It was established in 1919 and comprises of thirteen different faculties covering wide range of areas of human knowledge. Up till now, tens of thousands of students have finished the university with academic degrees, and it became truly a national university with noted international recognition. At present, it has approximately 23 000 students studying in various specializations and forms of study programs. As part of the oldest, largest, and most prestigious university in Slovakia, the Faculty of Management at Comenius University in Bratislava is the most recognized managerial and business school in the country. Also, it has been several times awarded by Eduniversal Agency as an “Excellent business school”. One of its key focuses is entrepreneurship research, entrepreneurial education, and consultancy activities for SMEs. The mission of the Faculty of Management is to produce high-class and competitive graduates who are able to work in teams or hold managerial posts in various organizations. The knowledge the faculty provides for its students is continuously growing and kept up to date thanks to its scientific research and development. Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship is the national coordinator for the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) project. The Department has established and operates the Consulting and Development Center for micro, small, and medium-sized companies. The Department also closely cooperates with Slovak Business Agency, Young Entrepreneurs Association of Slovakia, and the University of the Third Age on various projects aimed at the development of entrepreneurial skills and management of microbusinesses. Department is also actively involved in Comenius University Science Park (CUSP). CUSP is primarily oriented on areas of molecular medicine, environmental medicine, and biotechnologies, but it provides space for entrepreneurial activities through its science-business incubator. The ENDURANCE project is coordinated by the Faculty of Management, particularly Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, while staff from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport are involved in the project as well which reflects the link between entrepreneurship and sports and ensures interdisciplinary approach. Faculty of Physical Education and Sports is the oldest and largest faculty in the field of physical education and sports in Slovakia. Its aim is not only to prepare specialists in physical education and sport, but also in the field of sport science research. Alongside the academic education, the faculty also provides several educational offerings in higher and continuing VET for sports coaches, instructors or teachers.

School of Advanced Social Studies is an independent research-oriented higher education institution in the field of social sciences, located in Nova Gorica (Slovenia), on the western border of Slovenia with Italy, and close to both Austria and Croatia. The School’s strategic vision and thematic focus on high-level applied research in specific areas of EU studies is shaped, first, by the intercultural space in which it is located, secondly, by the transnational character of the region, which has traditionally nurtured strong cross-border linkages and, finally, by the region’s successful, smart and inclusive transformation from traditional industrial and rural region to one with high value-added industry and tourism, in which knowledge played the key role. The activities of the School are guided by strategic orientations towards interdisciplinary, internationalization, excellence, and applicability in teaching and research. During the short period after its founding in 2006, the School has managed to attract and consolidate a highly qualified and ambitious team of mostly younger researchers and university teachers. In terms of measurable scientific achievements, this is currently one of the leading social science institutions in Slovenia. SASS has full accreditation for BA and MA courses as well as for doctoral studies. SASS is providing degree-awarding courses at undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. levels in social sciences, media studies, and psychosocial counseling. SASS is not only an internationally connected leading national center of excellent social science education and research, but it is also strongly embedded in the local, regional, and national environment by conducting high-level basic research and relevant applied research for businesses and public administrations at local and national levels.

The ‘Gabriele d’Annunzio’ University, established in 1965 as a ‘Libera Università’, became state-owned in 1982. To this end, the Department is closely integrated with the Institute of Advanced Biomedical Technologies and the Centre for Research and Advanced Technologies, two university research centres dedicated to imaging and translational medicine respectively. The Department carries out high-impact scientific research, the majority of which involves collaboration with international universities and research centres.

IHF, Institut de Haute Formation aux Politiques Communautaires asbl, is a non-profit organisation established in Brussels (Belgium) in 2003. The principal aim of IHF is to provide the community (including non-profit and local authorities) with assistance for the development of a wider international cooperation through activities of specialised training on European policies and the dissemination of European values. One of the means to reach this objective is the organisation of highly specialised courses and seminars focused at the development of European projects. The courses focus on EU Policies and Legislation, International Relations and Project Management, promoting the possibility to participate in EU-funded programmes. IHF organises also study groups to Brussels for young graduates, local authorities’ representatives, SMEs, Universities, promoting mobility activities at different training levels. Since 2004 IHF organised more than 40 study visits to Brussels for more than 500 people. IHF took part as associate partner in previous EU funded projects, contributing mainly to Disseminaton and exploitation activities. IHF provides further assistance through continuous monitoring of EU legislation and European Institution activities, and consequent spread of related information, assistance in the search for partners and building up of networks. Thanks to its presence in Brussels IHF asbl developed relevant experience in the organisation of Dissemination and Valorisation activities at EU level, through contacts with MEPs, other European associations and Institutions, stakeholders, consumers groups etc.

IDP, with branch offices in Italy and in Brussels, was established in 1996 by partners working since 1991 in Brussels in the frame of EU policies and EU funding programmes. It relies on more than 20 years of experience in the development, submission and management of successful EU projects. Since 1999, IDP develops and carries out also specialised training courses for VET and Adult learners focused exclusively on EU related issues (EU Institutions, policies, programmes, project management etc), delivering an average of +1000 hrs/year of training to +550 adult attendees/year. IDP organises also study visits in Brussels to the EU Institutions or the participation of groups of AL to major EU events (such as the Open Days of DG Regio); moreover, it takes part in all EU events held in Brussels (Info days, conferences, meetings etc) and has regulars contacts with officers and representatives of Brussels-based Institutions, practitioners, associations and projects. As a training service provider, IDP organises, manages and delivers high quality specialised training for Local and other public authorities, focusing on the various aspects of project management, planning, financial management, implementation, fund-raising, etc In addition to serving the public and third sector, IDP offers services to institutional clients from both national and regional governments. Moreover, IDP is currently a contractor of the EU Institutions/Agencies having been awarded in 2010 two contracts on the basis of competitive bidding.
